My name is Louise Willis and I am experienced, trained, qualified and ready to listen, offer perspective and ultimately help guide you toward your goals. Our therapeutic relationship offers you my full attention during our sessions together.
Perhaps it’s the first time you’ve thought about speaking to anyone about your problems or feelings, furthermore it can be difficult to understand the feelings and why you are having them.
Thoughts, feelings and ultimately behaviours are all natural reactions to events which you may not have fully processed or understood, this is where a therapist comes in….
Counselling gives you the space and time to unburden, and work through any issues at your own pace in a safe, comfortable, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” – Buddha
Cherry Tree Counselling can help
Cherry Tree Counselling is a safe and confidential environment where, together we can explore any issues you might have. These could include:
- General stress
- Low Self-esteem
- Unresolved Childhood Issues
- Behavioural issues
- Assertiveness and Boundary setting
- Work related stress
What to expect from Therapy
An opportunity to talk about yourself and any concerns you have, in a way that often can’t often be achieved with friends and family.
Our first session together will be an assessment session, where we will decide if we think we can successfully work together. If we agree to proceed, we will both commit to your on-going therapy until you feel the therapy is complete.
It is helpful to know the reason/s for you seeking counselling, it is also helpful to know if you have any goals you wish to work toward. These areas will be regularly reviewed as they may change over time as our work together progresses.
Integrative training allows us to use tools from different counselling models to help find the best way forward for you as an individual.
Cherry Tree Counselling, for a positive future.
As time passes, we can forget to treat ourselves with the same positive respect and kindness that we so freely give to others.
We can find ourselves in a downward spiral of negativity, or in a ‘rut’. This can happen as a result of our self composed ‘life script’, too much stress from external factors or from behaviour picked up along the way.
Finding the way out of these negative patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving is important, not just for now, but for the future.
The tools you will take from Therapy can be applied to all areas of life, as a result you will be able to deal with any future issues far more effectively.
In conclusion, the aim of therapy is for you, to be the best version of you!
